Richard Bentley is a native of Marietta, Georgia. Richard received his undergraduate degree from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. While studying at Mercer University, Richard competed as a member of the Mercer Baseball teams where he would earn All-Conference All-Academic Team honors each year.
After completing his undergraduate education, Richard attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. He served as the Executive Editor of the Notes & Comments Section of the school’s Law Journal. Additionally, Richard clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia as well as at the Office of the Solicitor-General of Cobb County.
Richard also clerked for Davis Adams, LLC, a personal injury law firm primarily focused on representing those injured as a result of medical malpractice.
Richard graduated with honors from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, and he was ranked second overall in his class. Richard is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.
Upon graduating from law school, Richard worked with an insurance defense firm primarily focused on defending personal injury automobile accident lawsuits, which has enabled him to provide his personal injury clients with excellent representation due to the wealth of knowledge and experience he gained regarding how insurance companies choose to defend certain personal injury matters.
Outside of the office, Richard is an avid Atlanta sports fan, and he enjoys exercising, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Alexis, and two children, Harper and Thomas.
